BMD Software attended the third edition of the Innovating Health Together Conference (IHTC), held in Lisbon on October 27th and 28th. Organized by Health Cluster Portugal, this year’s event focused on “Resilient and Sustainable Health Systems for the Future”. The conference brought together healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders. The discussions covered digital transformation, healthcare funding, and patient-centered care. IHTC 2026 was an opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with other professionals. It also provided valuable insights into the challenges facing healthcare systems today.
Our participation builds on last year’s conference in Porto, where we presented PathoBox, our digital pathology solution developed under the Health from Portugal agenda. Both editions reflect our ongoing interest in how technology can support healthcare professionals and contribute to more connected and efficient healthcare systems.
At BMD Software, we believe interoperability is essential for connected healthcare. We develop solutions that help healthcare providers connect systems and exchange information. This commitment is also reflected in MedGov-AI, a project focused on the orchestration and governance of AI providers in medical imaging. Events like IHTC allow us to share experiences and better understand the needs of healthcare professionals, while exploring how technology can support more connected and efficient healthcare systems.
